    how is it that you guyz get the mpv and mp2 or ac3 files from the DVD to your hard drive so they can be used in dvd-lab ? i tried rejig in ifo mode, but got an ac3 and an m2v instead. thanx 4 any answers or pointers

  2. If the original file contains AC3, then that's what you get out. DVDLab will work with AC3, no problem.
    M2v and mpv are the same thing.
    Go ahead and use rejig, then dvdlab.
    What's the problem again?

    cool. thanx. no problem now. checking out your dvdlab guides. do you think dvdlab is superior to dvd maestro, or doesn't it matter ? see, i have inherited my brother's PC and he has all these dvd programs and stuff installed, so i thought i would check them out

    ok, i tried dvd maestro and authored my first dvd. it seems simple enough, just add assets, menu, point menu buttons to movie and scenes etc., configure opacity, compile. easy.
