what format did you capture to on your hard drive? dv .avi's, or on-the-fly mpeg encoding? What are the attributes of your captured videos?

what are the attributes of your project/disc (PAL or NTSC, mpeg-1 or mpeg-2, resolution, bitrate, audio type, etc...)?

  6. I am new to this but I beleive it is avi, windvd captues the video and allows you to author and burn. The problems I am having is that the video quality is very bad and when I try to create chapters the chapters have no audio, I am now using windv but I see that it split my captured video into 5 files.
