  1. I have a DVD-burner and it works fine when I burn movies with DVD-R. However, later I decided to switch from -R to + R and tried to burn 2 disc but neither of them works.
My DVD Burner is LiteOn 12X DVD+-R/+-RW Drive plus duel format DVD Writer. And I tried to use 2 different programs for burning: TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 and InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2.
So is my DVD drive able to burn DVD+R? if so, what program should I use instead?
By the way, that is FujiFilm DVD+R for data and video 4.7GB/120Min

  2. You have to check if you DVD Player (no writer) supports DVD+R reading.

Go to cdfreaks.com liteon forum and look for booktype setting program that will set your dvd+r to dvd-rom bitsetting when you next burn it.

Its not changing the disc from + to -,its setting the +r disc to dvd-rom booktype setting so your dvd player will read it as a dvd-rom disc, you can find more info about booktype setting at cdfreaks.com and on google.

Read here for more details on booktype setting.
