  1. I can't run any dvd's that I make using dvd-shrink on my computer. they all run in my standard player that is hooked up to my t.v, but it doesn't even show up as files on my comp. do i need some patch or something to get them to work? I think it might be because they are on dvd-r's and that my dvd player on my comp is old so i need some patch. anyone know more about this?

    They must play with your DVD writer which you used to burn them? Right?
    What brand and model of DVD ROM do you have?

    What software DVD player do you have installed ? Windows media player will not play DVDs out of the box.

  4. if it is coming from the same drive as the one that you burned it on then it shouldn't be a problem. Check to see your not trying to play a dvd using a cd drive.....you cant imgaine how many ppl try that
