I have an ISO I ripped from a japanese music video I own. And I'm trying to shrink it to fit on a 4.7gb DVD-R and when I open the Disc in DVDshrink it won't let me adjust the compression low enough to fit on a backup disc...

Anyone know what I can do to make this fit? I've tried switching to custom ratio and it wont let me go lower than what it is set to in automatic.

    You have two choices

    1. Use DVD Rebuilder and re-encode instead. this is probably the better options.

    or

    2. Run it through Shrink and save the results to your HDD. Load the Shrunk version into Shrink and shrink it again.

Personally, I think if you have to Shrink it twice then you are asking for low quality and should use DVD Rebuilder instead, or seriously consider using a DL disc.

Fazeshot, your problem seems to be the inclusion of a PCM soundtrack. There is no simple way of compressing this. I strongly suggest you rip the video and audio elements separately, convert the PCM track to AC-3 (or MP2), then re-author as a new DVD. Complex I know but better than crucifying the video quality in order to fit in the PCM track.
