Seems the all singing all dancing Canopus ADVC-50 that I have is not all singing and all dancing as I once thought.
CGI Captain Scarlet; the top of his hat. The rest of his uniform looks just as bad, but can't post a JPG for the frame as it smudges what I am trying to show.
The source for this was a Sony Digi Box. What I am concerned about here is the striping over the red and this only happens on the red! Very poor. Not too concerned abouth the artifacts as the bitrate for this particular TV Station is notoriously low.
Quite disappointed in this, but I suppose that it won't show as badly in the resulting encode.
