    is there anyway to de-mux the audio in an avi file like u would in a mpg with tmpgenc??? it's ALOT faster to de-mux it and convert it to .wav and back with scmpx than waiting for the whole thing to de-mux. well if u guys know a good program or something lemme know. thanks a bunch.

    Get virtualdub, load your avi and choose File>Save Wav.
