I recorded some TV shoes directly to my PC with my ATI All In Wonder capture card using the DVD setting. I edited out the commericals with TMPGEnc. I put the clips together with transition effects with Ulead Video Studio 8, and also made capters and menus and burned with it.
When I play the DVD in my DVD player there are blurry and blocky parts. Where did I go wrong ?

Whats a better program to make a DVD with.

    Thanks for any help.

  2. Ulead 8 or tmpgenc (not TDA?) has re-encoded all your video.
You need an authoring app that won't do that.
If it's TDA you're talking about, then your original capture is blurry and blocky.
    Try DVDLab or TDA.

I didnt use TDA. I used tmpgenc to edit out the commericals only. Before and after I did that the mpegs played fine on my pc. Ulead did render the videos. So do you think the problem was with tmpgenc or video studio ?
    Sorry...I'm new to this.

  4. Either. They both re-encoded the video.
