    Hi,

I imported some Quicktime DV content from a finalcutpro mac session to my windows environment. And the playback on WMP classic is blocky. Importing it in adobe premiere is ok.
Is it a QT alternative codec issue ?

    what do you think ?

    thanks.

  2. QuickTime DV playback is by default at half res and low-quality. This has nothing to with the quality of the original file though.

The only way to change this is to open the file in QuickTime and choose HIGH QUALITY for playback and save the file. The file will then playback in full-res.

    Hello!

I have a problem I was hoping you could shed some light on.

I have a small Virtual Tour company and I can create a Quicktime file as an output file but I am having problems adding the movie to my website.

This is the file I have:

    http://www.vtpix.com/VirtualTour/360/268hickoryhollow360backyard.mov

This is the webpage I'm pulling the file from:

    http://www.vtpix.com/VirtualTour/268hickoryhollow.htm

Notice I have to link the Quicktime file and it comes up in another page.

I would like the file to come up on the main page, no link, just run.

I was thinking I could convert the file into a flash file to give the users more options.

    Any ideas?

  4. Here's the code:

    Code:
    <EMBED WIDTH="640" HEIGHT="496" CONTROLLER="true" SRC="http://www.vtpix.com/VirtualTour/360/268hickoryhollow360backyard.mov" type="video/quicktime" BORDER="0" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/index.html">
Copy that directly into your HTML page.

Surely an off-topic and probably a hijack, but I believe this is important:
