Any video I play has had green specks that randomly appear all over videos that I play now. Xvids, Divx, DVDs - everything. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Xvid and FFDshow. The only thing that solved this problem for me in the past was uninstalling Windows. Anyone have a better solution?

So you mean you are watching it on your PC, do the DVDs play properly other places (pc, player?)

Yeah, the DVDs are fine. Codec conflict is what I thought this was, but I have no idea how to solve it.
