can any one help? I have what I thought was a screen problem as there are small green/pink dots all over my screen. I have tried another screen but the same problem occurs. When I move the mouse the dots become worse. before I take the back of the pc and check inside it has anyone else had the problem or can anyone shed any light on it? Could it be a virus? here is a picture of the screen
    Cheers

I had a similar problem some years ago when the fan on the graphic card had died...I fixed the fan but it didn't help so I had to get a new card.

Sounds like a video card crapping out. If you have onboard graphics you have a problem. If its a card you can replace it. If its onboard graphics you cant but you can buy a card if you have an available agp or even a pci slot. Though pci cards are harder to come by. If you dont have a slot you'll need a new motherboard.
