OK, folks, my new MicroAdvantage (a rebadged ??) Model 16DDVDRW-A13 is acting weird (not reformatting +RWs properly?), and in addition, the last two DVD+RWs I burned skipped on my Philips 985A standalone DVD recorder and were not even recognized by two of my Cyberhome DVD CH-300 DVD Players!! These devices play all other DVDs correctly, by the way. Since I am tired of fooling around with these "brandless" devices, what can all of you recommend as a replacement (BTW, this current DVD burner replaced an older HP 300i)? I am looking for a PC DVD burner that is 16X, +-R/RW/+RDL and will accept bitsetting! So, what is the best manufacturer/model and who currently has the best price? Let the price wars begin (continue?)!!![]()

NEC 3520 or LG 4163B, both under $70 at Newegg.
Still a few bugs in the system...
