    Hi all,
    I need to cut a VCD dat file and convert to avi or mpg. Currently I am using FX Splitter & Trimmer but it seems doesn't produce a satisfactory result. Are there any other alternatives or better proggy? Thanks a lot.

    Send a message via MSN to mats.hogberg
    DAT to MPG: VCDGear. (No actual conversion, just some headers that differ)
    mpg to AVI: VirtualDub.
    I suggest you get it in mpg format first. If your end product is AVI, I suggest you then convert to AVI, and lastly start editing.
