Hi, i have a tv episode with a file size 9.55 gb split into 14 parts in DAT format, i want to join all 14 parts to one file & convert it to avi file,how to do it? please suggest me,any advice will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

VCD dat files? Identify using mediainfo if you don't know.
You could try virtualdub or avidemux and append all files. Convert to avi divx or xvid.
