As I know all the divx videos (and similar) have progressive frames,
so when I want to convert to mpeg2 for DVD what settings do I make in the conversion software? Progressive frames or interlaced?
If anyone knows specifically the settings for vegas 5.

DivX can be interlaced, same goes for XviD.
If you have a progressive source, I would suggest that you keep it progressive.
