  1. Hi !!

I have been using Imtoo DVD ripper 2.0.52 build 426 to back up my DVD and I use Divx 6 pro codec for compression. I convert the audio to MP3 ---- my input settings for audio are "High Quality (Slow) 48.0 KH and out put settings are MP3 3.92 MMX at 192 Kb/s 44.1 KHz 16 bits Q3.

I am using the same settings for last one year and converted many dvds with no problems.

However I noticed that in recent conversions the audio has a static type clicking sound that we usually experience in the audio of old LP records. I tried various combination of changed settings including input to "Normal" and increasing as well as decreasing bitrate of out put and changing the Q as well. I also tried changing volume from 3 to 2 and 1 ---- but the static type clicks always appear at the same locations in the audio. The origional DVD AC3 audio have no such static type clicks in audio.

Can some one plese help me to resolve this problem ?

I also tried converting some of my old DVDs again and these were converted perfectly well again --- it is only when I convert these particular DVDs that the audio problem returns !!!

    Regards
    Sheba

ImToo may be having problems with newer DVD copy protection schemes. Personally not a big fan of the ImToo products (actually, not a huge fan of anything that charges for something that can be done equally as well or better for free), so I would suggest trying to rip with DVDFab HD Decrypeter instead to see if it helps.
