  1. Hello all, here is what I have. Did a slideshow. The pictures have a border around them. On the computer they look great but on the t.v. about 3/4 or more of the border is gone. Tried all aspect ratio's in TMPGEnc doesn't seem to help. The slideshow was a mpg file that I rencoded with TMPGEnc. Like I said before tried all different combo's of aspect ratio's and source ratio's with no luck. Any idea's would be great. Thanks kelly

    Your problem is your TV's overscan, not aspect ratios. Overscan is the area around the edge that TV's do not display.

    Add black borders at about 16-24 pixels to the edges so the overscan just covers the borders,use tmpgenc clip frame function to achieve this,if you need more help theres tons of guides on this and do a search also.
