  1. Ok, i burnt a vcd using nero, it plays in colour on any computer but when i put it in a dvd player it plays black and white on the tv, is there any way i can fix this or what is wrong??

  2. your DVD player should be able to change between Multi, Pal, or NTSC. try that and see if it works.....

  3. alucard2050 maybe his DVD Players are the reall earyly ones my first DVD was only NTSC ....check your manufacter or you manuel if it can switch to PAL And NTSC

  4. I have the same problem.... the DVD Player is a SONY 525D and it shows that the VCD that i created is NTSC but says its a VCD PCD? ... does the TV need also to know to display NTSC.... mine all seems to be PAL only.....

    That is what I figured.... so I converted the source to PAL and got Nero to reburn and yep I can now watch it colour!

    I am waiting for decent prices on HDTV before upgrading so I am stuck with non NTSC playback TV's.....

  7. Note that this also happened with VCR's and NTSC tapes if you didn't use a scart cable to connect the player to the TV. If this is the case invest in one of these cables... it really is worth it.

  8. Ok, so what your saying is that i cant play NTSC on an old tv, which i have, my DVD is the Pioneer DV533k, and it does play both, this scart will it help me , or do i need a new TV?
