  1. Hi Everyone,

How would I be able to explain this, I once watch a concert on a vcd, like a regular concert from start til end never had any pauses in between. However, then I notice I was able to skip to certain tracks or menus (don't know if that's the appropriate word to use) and play my desire song!

I tried putting a few clips together in sequences but the result was that there is a 1-2 sec pause (black screen) in between each clip. How am I able to bypass the 1-2 sec pause. Or if anyone knows what am I talking about?

    Any reply would be appreciated.

  2. True seamless chapters (ie. seperate tracks) aren't really do-able w/ an x(S)VCD. However, you can select entrypoints which work just like chapters (hit <<>> on remote, or number on remote/keypad).

The two best programs for this are VCD Easy or TSCV. You can find both at http://www.doom9.org Both make bin/cue files (image files) of your MPEG and then you burn the image. VCD Easy comes w/ CDRDAO a GNU/freeware CD burning program (very nice).

VCD Easy is also a little easier to learn/use than TSCV; but TSCV has more features and you can burn from w/in it too.

  3. Vejita-sama,

Thanks for your reply. If what you're saying is correct, then what I'm looking for is to make "Entrypoints". WHat I've been doing is capture the movie through DVC II and use TMPGEnc to encode it and burn it with Nero. I am making SVCD, can entrypoints be made in SVCD? I don't know how to make entrypoints or deal with bin/cue. Can you please provide me a step by step or a site where it can show me how to make the entrypoints?

Thanks again for your help. Jordan
