On the shrek 2 dvd there are 2 separate movies with slightly different endings. You need to use shrink in reauthor mode to just select one of the movies.

So ur saying that I cant do a full copy of shrek 2???cause I would like the whole lot if possible.
-
You can, although the compression might be too high. Many people just do movie only backups, in which case you would have to pick just one ending. If you have DVD Decrypter, use it to burn from Shrink, rather than Nero.

Thx for all ur input,in the end I just used shrink.re author and one of the movie versions, why is there more than one???

I've never had any problems with nero (all dvd versions) i'm now using nero express and havn't had one coaster yet.
Even with both shreksI could dance with you till the cows came home..... on second thoughts i'd rather dance with the cows till you came home.

Creamygoodness7 - The alternate ending is done using a technique called seamless branching. Usually it is done at the chapter level, with one chapter being the original, and another being the alternate version. When you pick a version from the menu, the correct chapters are played for that version.
When DVD Shrink analyses the structure of the DVD, it sees each version as a seperate film. I have seen DVDs that appear to have more then 15GB of movie on them because of this. When you choose a movie in reauthor mode, you are really choosing which set of chapters to include.Read my blog here.
