I am trying to get the "best" TV-OUT quality. The current output I have, using the hardware/drivers/software listed below, is pretty good, however I would like to get the quality just a bit sharper if possible, especially the text. video plays perfect and I can *mostly* read what is on the screen, but I would like to see the text/programs/windows better if possible. I am currently using 800x600 resolution, I was using 740x480 and no real difference in quality. the 800x600 gives a better desktop. I couldnt really find any options in the tvTool to assist in quality, other than resolution, though I was told it should help.
Any advice or suggestions on achieving the "holy grail" of near-perfect TV-OUT quality with the existing hardware would be appreciated. any upgrades or additional/different software to use?
AMD 1.8g processor
MSI KT4av motherboard
1gig DDR ram
Nvidia GeForce4 x440 8xAGP
- ver 56.x driver (I believe)
tvTool ver 9.7

Don't know what media player you're using but if you haven't tried it yet, try Zoomplayer. It's about as customizable as you can get and you can choose between different video and audio filters to try and get the best quality.
