  1. I was looking for some "paper cd/dvd sleeves" 500ct, anyway I came across http://www.cdrom2go.com that has them. I've never heard of them, so, has anybody here ever used this site to order from?

    Thanks.

  2. I haven't, however, the Better Business Bureau has an excellent search area that can be helpful when researching (even by web addresses).

How much per hundred? I get them for 3 bucks at the computer shows that are monthly events here in Western PA.

I think they are 10 bucks per 50 at CompUSA. Damn near as much as a DVD, and more than a CD.

Check www.marketpro.com to see if there is a show in your area.

One caveat, if that is all you are after, 7 bucks, I think, to get in. I buy an annual pass at 40 bucks. Generally hold 13 or 14 shows near me. Generally about 150-200 vendors, all trying to make enough to pay for their per table cost.

    Cheers,

    George

  4. If you don't want to order from them, I've seen other places sell for around $.03-.04 apiece as well.

I've ordered from yesbuy.net a couple of different times, I had no problems with my orders. Judging by the cheapo discs they sell and the look of their website, I wouldn't be suprised if their reseller ratings aren't the greatest, but I had no problems at all, I ordered 300 paper sleeves from them for $.03 each about a year ago.

  5. Thanks for the infos..

At the site they are 17.50 for a 500 pk., and that's really about the best that i've found, and as for gettig them local, I can't find or get this bulk pk sz. any where around.

    Thanks again..

  6. yesbuy.net sells 500 for $15, I suppose it just depends on how much after shipping is factored in.

    P.S. - if we split 2000 of them, we'll save $10 :P

Are paper sleeves safe to store DVDs in?

noslow, Their shipping is high. I get my sleeves from sams club for $13 for 250.
Tyvek sleeves are supposed to be better, but more expensive. I think paper is fine unless you plan on slipping the disk in an ou often. If you look closely, you can notice little paper scratches. I doubt that these would ever cause any problem with playback.

  9. paper sleeves are fine, a hell of a lot better than carrying a naked disc.

The tyvek sleeves are extermely durable though, theyll last forever and wont be ruined by water. If you are planning on heavy use get the tyveks.
