My TMPGEnc mpgs made from AVIs often have a few single black frames in them.
Is it possible to cut only them out without re-encoding?
I'm sorry if this has been explored. I've searched under "black flash", "drop frame" etc. The closest I seem to be able to do is make about half a second dissapear with TMPGEnc's merge and cut. This is worse than the black frame. My mpgs are not just for recreational viewing otherwise I wouldn't bother you all. I use PIII 800Mhz, 7200 RPM 40G HDs, 382Mb RAM, 133Mhz FSB, TMPGEnc 2.0. Am I asking too much or getting something wrong? Of course I'd rather not get the black frames in the first place but I can't seem to avoid it. Thanks - Rod.
