    HI
I have a short M2V clip and I need to do one of these two things:

    1) to cut a M2V file
    2) to 'edit' some single frames as images in order to 'erase' some writings

The first thing is simple, I suppose, but I don't know which software to use (nor how).
The second (more interesting) thing is more complex I think, but I suppose it should be possible to somehow 'demux' the single frames, edit the ones I need to edit, then 'assemble' again the clip (with the same framerate, length, etc.).

    Is it possible?
    How?

    Thanks in advance

VideoRedo or Womble Mpeg Video Wizard would be my recommendations.

If you remove frames you will be changing the length of the video, and therefore introducing audio sync issues over time.

echoing guns1inger, MPEG Video Wizard will do these things fine. You will want to put both the video and the audio track into thet video wizard application and make sure you make the same cuts at the same places on both tracks, then when you encode the file you'll have the audio/video where it should be.
