    i have DVD shrink and dvd img tool and dvd decrypter that I use once in a while to make backup copies of my movies... but I have a couple avi files that id like to put on a dvd-r disc.... can someone point me in the right direction on what program and a how too??? sorry i tried search with no luck.... guess im idiot!

    Here's a link to ultraiso. Not sure why you want to do avi to iso for. Is this just to store the avi on DVD?

    i wanna be able to put the dvd in my dvd player and watch the AVI.... i just figured I know how to put ISO on a dvd-r

    if not ISO, what would I convert the AVI into to put it on a DVD-R

    The AVI must be converted to mpeg then authored. Look at the link I gave up above and choose AVI to DVD.

    I'd use http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm , then author using your favorite authoring software (mine is TMPGEnc DVD Author).
    If in doubt, Google it.
