  2. Are you sure you don't have a cdrw/dvd-rom combo drive (which can burn CDs, but only READ DVDs)? Your post is difficult to decipher at best :

It would also help if you filled out your computer properties in your profile.

Telling us it is a northgate means nothing.

Also he might only have a little part of Nero there is like a dozen programs in Nero.

He could have parts of Nero that don't support DVD.

The Liteon LTC48161H is a combination (combo) CD writer and CD/DVD reader. It does not have the capability to write to a DVD. DVD writers are pretty cheap, you might consider replacing your present drive or if you have the space installing a DVD writer into an empty drive bay.

That is not a dvd burner.

    You need to buy one.

That is a cd burner/dvd-rom drive.

I just bught a NEC 3520 from Newegg.com for 65 American. 16x's speed DVD writer I love it.

    Great quality and speed.

Do you have the manual for yuor DVD player if not give me the model number I could look it up.

DB and DBZ are a good shows haven't watched much GT though.

I had to pay two or three dollars for shipping that always happens you buy it then the price comes down.

Goku if you want to make VCD's read the guides it's to much to put step by step right here.

If you can't do it reading the guides it might be over your head for right now.

  15. There's probably a fair chance you can play VCDs on your player, but that might be a bit over your head right now, making VCDs can be more confusing than DVDs, I'd suggest you just get a DVD burner.

Newegg.com would be a good choice for that, for $62.99 shipped, you can't go wrong with this drive:

edit: Damn it doppletwo you beat me :P
