  1. I'm on the final part of backing up my dvd in dvd decrypter when I get the following message:
    I/O ERROR

    INTERPRETATION:CHECK CONDITION

    INTERPRETATION: INVALID ADDRESS FOR WRITE


    I'M A NOOB IN THIS HOBBY SO ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
    i'M RUNNING AN I/O MAGIC 16X EXTERNAL DVDRW+R-R DOUBLE LAYER BURNER. I WAS TRYING TO BACKUP A COPY OF MASTER AND COMMANDER. AGAIN THANKS FOR THE HELP.

    Maybe bad media or you bump the computer hard.

    More info needed.

  3. Sounds like bad media. What media are you using? Try burning at a lower speed.

    Disc is scratched or has a fingerprint ...

    ... and please don't use ALL CAPS ...

  5. thanks for the tips guys, I retried the burn on a lower speed with a new dvd+r and it worked. Again thanks for the tips.
