Has anyone noticed a difference between a $130 vs a $45 dvi cable?
I can notice a difference between component and a $45 dvi.I am just wondering if I should get a better one for my HDTV.

DVI comes in various flavors and contains both digital (DVI-D) and analog pins (DVI-I). The digital connection will either work or not. A "better" cable will only improve connection reliablity not improve the picture.
For analog pins, picture quality may degrade as as cable lengths exceed 10 feet. Long analog connections require higher quality cables.

What exactly do you mean.\? Can I expect the signal to be sporadic with an inferior cable? And,if I have had no noticeable problems with several hours of viewing will I likely in the future? If there is no improvement in the picture why care?
BTW this is a dvi-d connection from cable box to tv. Thanks for the info,I have been getting a lot of conflicting info. -
If you aren't having problems, you don't need new cables. Comcast provided mine for free at install.
