Sound Problem

After I ripp my movie with smartripper i watched the movie in powerdvd and the background sound is coming from one speaker and the foreground is coming from the other speaker. How can i fix this problem. Thanks in advance

I assume you are just playing the VOB files in media player? If so, the VOB files contain all the sound tracks and playing them can cause 'weried' sound effects (directors comments, multi tracks playing at once, etc).

I tried to play the vob file in power dvd. I realized this problem after i finished combining the video and audio in Virtual dub. I traced the sound file to the actuall rip of the movie. I'm not sure why it is doing this. I encode the vob fil in flask and i convert the sound to wav with PX3 AC3 to wav and then i combine the files in virtual dub. This process works fine before but all of a sudden it is not working? What am i doing wrong and what is causing this problem. Thanks
