My guess is no, but I thought I'd give it a shot. If I did decide to convert it, what should I use? TMPGenc and Nero don't seem to like it? Thanks.

An .img file is a disk image. You can burn it directly to a blank cdr/dvdr (dependinging on what the img is of). If you want to access the files contained on the disk you can mount the image using something like DaemonTools and then it will be accessible just as if you had burnt it and stuck it in your cd/dvdrom. From there, yes you could load it into TMPGenc or Nero depending on what type of file it was.
