An img file is just a container like an ISO. Open it in something like imgburn, or Nero to burn it to a dvd.

Been a long time since I used Nero, but there should be a preset for burning ISO/Img files. A ISO/MIG is normally used to package a video file or a VIDEO_TS folder for a DVD. Try dropping it into Nero and see if it suggests the way to burn it.

With the freeware ImgBurn, select: 'Write image file to disc'

If the burned DVD doesn't play, it may be a PAL or a format your player doesn't recognize.
