  1. This is an odd sequence of events: A few days ago an avi file which originally played well in Divx decided not to play anymore. For some reason this file became an "unrecognizable" avi file. (The only thing that will play it now is VLC) Anyway, since then Divx has displayed a black screen for a vast majority of my avi's. I originally thought it was a codec problem, however I didn't add or remove any codecs prior to this happening. I also uninstalled and reinstalled with no success.
