  1. Just wondering, because I've been having very good luck with converting MPEG1 files to bin/cue to burn a VCD, and instead of trying to convert the whole shebang to DVD, just put three or so 1/2 hour eps on one CD instead of one...

It's not possible unless you extract the mpgs from the bin and master a new vcd... If you have the original mpg files, you can make a bin/cue combo with several mpgs.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

I'm not too familiar with VCD Gear; I used Toast 5.x back in the days when I still bothered with VCDs. It should be possible with any decent VCD mastering app to select several MPGs to make a BIN/CUE combo from.

  5. Personally I prefer VCD Tools X for ripping mpegs from .bins and repacking them into burnable images.

  6. Hmmm......VCD Gear, VCD Tools, and VCD Builder ALL had troubles with different files in the group. I tried to make my bin/cue from a joined file, none worked? What all would be recommended for joining then trying to make my bin/cue?
Like I said, I'm very rusty here, mostly ripping and backing up via MTR and DVD2One.
