    I have a retail dvd that has the audio out of sync with the video. It's a rare film and I'm unable to get it replaced....so how would i go about fixing this?

    Is it AC3 audio? Stereo or 5.1? Mpeg Audio? PCM?

    What is the DVD ? Others may have the same disk with or without sync problems.

    is it consistently out of sync in different players?

    I run into this every once in a while on my Apex - it clams up, goes out of sync. usually skipping back a chapter locks it back up.

    What DVD is it that's giving you problems? Have you tried contacting the Studio or the creator of the DVD?
