    I think you will have to change your preffered site layout to get rid of them. It appears that Baldrick has changed the background color/design in celebration of the holiday season....

    As capmaster pointed out go into your profile and change the default setting for the width of the forum. I don't think it matters what you use the board generates the html dependant on your settings in your profile.
