I recorded a sports event on my Pioneer DVR 510 H. I want to send this to a friend of mine in Australia whose DVD player can only play region 4 DVD'S. I have already ripped the DVD to my computer hard drive using DVD Decryptor. My question is: did this remove the region code from 1 to 0? If yes how can I burn this to a new DVD +R? I don't have nero. My computer came with Sonic recordnow deluxe and Sonic MYDVD deluxe. Can I use this? How can I do this region free so that he can play it in his Australian DVD player? I am new to DVD burning so any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, dvd decryptor will make it region free, but i'm pretty sure it was region free before that.

Use 'ISO Read' mode to rip to HDD
Then 'ISO Write' mode to burn -
But what about the fact that he recorded it in NTSC? Will it be viewable on the friend's PAL DVD player? I'm asking because I also have this same question, except I'm trying to go from an Australian DVD to US DVD. Thanks for any response!
