I usually can download youtube videos and play them on my HDTV. I choose 1280x720 video when downloading to a USB stick. I just plug the stick into the TV. For some reason, a video that i downloaded last night won't play. Does anyone have an idea why? The specs of the video are normal, as far as HD video goes. Perhaps it may be copywrited or something? Does anyone suggest trying to convert it with video conversion software? It's 1.62gb and it will take a while to convert, since i don't have a souped-up PC. Anyone wanna suggest something that i can do to make sure future videos play on my tv?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

  2. Perhaps because it is encoded with VP9 and that is not supported by your TV. Use MediaInfo (View -> Text) to see the encoding.
