    How to play videos such as
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tz6RxJtS8Kc
    on your PC.
    As per mediainfo the file is 3840x2160 AVC high at 5.1
    VLC does not play it,mediaplayer classic does not play it.
    They play at Youtube

    To be able to download you need to select the 4K version
    while playing on Youtube.4K version.

    FFplay part of ffmpeg does it
    It is command line
    Code:
    ffplay -x width of your screen in pixels -y height of your screen in pixels "full path of your  file"
    It plays at original size if you do not change to your screen size, and your screen shows only part of the video.

    you need to first get to your folder containing ffplay in command prompt using cd commands

    I downloaded the 4k video and it plays fine on my laptop in MPC and MPC-HC. My laptop is an i3 and plays at full frame speed with MPC, but a little slower with MPC-HC.

    I tried playing it on my Samsung 1080p tv via usb thumbdrive, unfortunately it complains about invalid resolution. It still looks good when I resized it down to 1080p however...........
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
