  1. I want to join 2 avi files in virtualdub, but
when I try this, appears this message:
The video streams have different sampling
    rates (29.96973 vs. 29.97243)
    what can I do?
    Please, help me. Thanks

I would normally say to change one of the files framerate to match the other in VD, but if you are going to put them into a DVD, I believe you can encode each into a MPEG-2 as is, then input them each into the authoring program. TMPGEnc DVD Author should accept the files separately and play them one after the other without problems.

If you don't want MPEG, then change one of the rates to match.

  3. How can change the framerate? Please, explain me.
I want to make the 2 files at the same framerate
because I want to join in virtualdub and then,
    make a dvd.
Thanks a million for your time!!!

    Do this

Encode each file separately, and let your authoring program do the joining for you.
    If in doubt, Google it.
