A lot of people were stating that they were having either wierd dvd playback or complete lack of playback with the last few builds of the beta.

I have been wrestling with this all week and I think i have it sorted now in Beta 5. Please go grab it (from the registered users area) and post your findings here.

  2. Hey Chrissyboy

Lots of problem with this beta.
In settings when I go to burning. I get "Nerocom.dll not registered. I had that in earlier betas. I can fix that by registering that dll.
Menu preview, I get an unhandled exception. No preview if I select continue.
Just before burning, I get the "SVCD2DVD Error" window twice.
When I try to burn the video_ts folder with Nero, I get "Video compliance test failed", or something lik that. If I select ignore, the DVD does not play.
I will send an e-mail with the log.

  4. Got the new one. One problem so far. Menu preview works. But I can't close the preview window. It stops responding. That's with MP3 audio. Without audio, it will close.

  5. Just before burning, I get the SVCD2DVD error box twice:

    Type: System.NullReferenceException

    Source: System.Windows.Forms

Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    InnerException:

  6. I burned it manually with Nero. The disc works fine. It didn't work in one of my players though. It would not read the disc at all. I am pretty sure that has to do with bitsetting. I just converted my Pioneer 108 to a Piodata 108 which does bitsetting for +R's, and +RW's. I used a +RW.

    Not sure, could be.

I'll pretty sure this is due to the fact that the SVCD2DVD window is not in focus. It is a known problem.

Also I have made yet another fix to the muxer - should be more compatible now. Feel free to redownload.

  8. Looks like the menu preview is broken again.
When I click preview, the preview window takes a long time to appear. The window is black with no audio. No errorr or crash.

  16. No. The window turns gray. And it won't close. If I click the x again, I get the Windows end program box.

It turns out it was the bitsetting! I flashed back to Pioneer firmware. I then burned a DVD+RW made with Audio DVD Creator.
    http://www.audio-dvd-creator.com/
And it worked. It didn't work in the same player when I burned it with the Piodata firmware. I still don't understand why. When I burnt +R's with the Piodata FW, they play fine.

  19. Hello I am enjoying this new program but I am having a problem with a error when I try to set burner setting. I get a error of Nerocom.dll not registered. I tried what you suggested

    regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroCom.dll

I still am getting the error of nerocomm.dll not registered.

This is my first bug I have found I want to see if we can resolve this and I will post others later.

By the way iss where I should be posting this?

    Thanks
