I often encode dvds to divX using Gordian Knot and they play fine when I use my monitor to view them. However I bought a graphics card recently partially so I could use the TV-Out function to view my DivX movies on my TV. However, although it works, the video becomes quite jerky and sluggish after about 3 minutes of viewing time. My graphics card is a Sparkle G-Force FX 5200 AGP. In fact, it doesn't just happen for DivX, but pretty much any video files, DVD's and all. I live in europe and my TV is therfore PAL.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hmm....I have a 5200 in one machine and the TV-out is perfect (its the same TV-out as the higher level cards).
Is your psu (power supply) on the way out/on its limit or is your pc overheating? -
Yeah, if I play the videos simultaneously on the monitor and the TV, only the TV is jerky.
