how should i demultiplex a dvd mpeg with mpeg-1 layer II ?

ok i want to demultiplex a dvd mpeg file with mpeg-1 layer II audio (mp2).... is it ok to use TMPGEnc mpeg tools to do this because i don't see any options for dvd or is there a better way

Hello,

Ok just use demulitplex in the mpeg tools. I've done it plenty of times. Just double click the audio portion and save it as an .mp2 audio file.

yeah, mpeg tools worked but now the video is oversized so now i cant burn it!
what other programs demultiplex

IMO the best and fastest program for demultiplexing is demux, found here on Ted Rossin's site:

Its free. Its a commandline tool but its very easy to use. Go to start, and then run. Type cmd.exe and hit enter. This will open a command prompt. Type: cd C:\[whatever folder you extracted demux.exe to]\ and hit enter. This will change your directory. Now type: demux.exe myfile.mpg myoutputfiles and hit enter. Then it will demux the file into the audio, mp2 and video, m2v. I'm happy to answer any other questions you might have!

That should not be. It only splits files, it doesn't change the size.
