Hello, if anyone knows about Mpeg Layer-3 audio encoding for avi files. The only options i have is 24000hz up to 80 kbps...
    I've tried every codec

    Lame ACM 3.97
Fraunhofer and the Radium pro version
    Stinky's

None of them will work. when Lame is installed it will give up to 24000hz 160kbps

I'm trying to get all the options up to 48000hz. and have tried everything. I also have klite codec and ffdshow. I've tried installing in different orders of each program. Before I reformated the hard drive everthing was perfect

What software are you trying to use ?

LAME ACM with virtualdub will give you 48kHz up to 320 kbps

I installed it. Under the encoding options, the option changed from mpeg Layer 3 to Lame mpeg, but still 24000hz

The way you are selecting the options, or something in cyberlink in restricting what you see. You should see up 48kHz @ 320 kbps
