    Is it possible to ripp part of a dvd movie. I really don't want to ripp the whole movie and then take the scenes out that i don't want. Thanks

    FInd out what chapter the section of the film is in and then most DVD ripping progs will allow you to select only that chapter (smartripper and DVD decrypter)...good luck.

    I've never tried it but I would think that if you follow the item concerning vegas video it may be possible to use it to edit exactly the parts you want, as I said, never tried it and am also a newbie but it would be the first place I would try.

    Just use tempeg mepeg tools to rip the part you want it the esay way to go really.
