  1. Hi,

i've ripp BD discs to HDD folder with AnyDvd 6.6.8 trial, now i want to choose only the main movie and eng audio.

I'll use the file for edition in Vegas, i need to keep full HD quality and have a/v in the same file, what tool btw DvdFab ClownBd TsMuxer Eac3MoreGui BdHdStreamExtractor or another one will output best for using in Vegas. File type .m2ts is good or .ts is better in my case, or is it exacly the same.
From Vegas output will be stereo 2.0 or 2.1, what audio do select in streams list, choices are btw DolbDig ; TrueHd ; DtsHd and PCM. Each source doesn't have all the strems, one has only DTSHD. What to choose in order of preference ?

    I joined BdInfo files.

    Thank you.

    Parallel topic.

  4. Thanks, i'll redo all when received new RAM

For using in Vegas, DtsHd will be correctly handled and outputed in 2.1 ? Is it better to take only the core while ripping (for Vegas compatibility) ?

  5. Nope it won't work . Vegas doesn't support HD audio. Convert to wave (eac3to)

  6. Yes i just tried an .m2ts made with clownbd, it with dtshd won't open in Vegas. I'll try AC3.

    Thanks.

  7. Hi,

i can't open any .m2ts from my Bluray's (ripped with AnyDvd+ClownBd), how is that possible. Must i convert VC-1 ?

    My codecs are well installed / divx / ac3filter & acm / xvid / ogg / vorbis / qt lite / real lite / haali / FfdShow (x86 + x64) / TotalMediaTheatre.

    Thanks

  9. I enabled FfdShow for Vc-1 in Wmv9 and libavcodec, i couldn't open the files in Vegas. I can read them even w/o FfdShow in Wmp...

So i had the idea to make verry good Dvd quality encoding of my BluRay's for using in Vegas easyly. What is the best software do do that ? TmpgEncXpress perhaps ?

Or another NLE can open VC-1 natively w/o ffdshow filters ?

EDIT: m2ts sample from internet opens... but mpg2

  10. No NLE can open VC-1 in .m2ts natively. VC-1 in ffdshow is for directshow players, not vegas. I thought your earlier comment was that you couldn't open it in a media player . Vegas doesn't use directshow to decode (uses own internal decoders and splitters)

You could use avs2dvd to make a DVD
