Hi All,
I'm looking for help on a problem I started having when I switched from Princo DVD-Rs to Verbatim DVD-Rs. The manufacturer ID on the Verbatim discs is MCC 02RG20. I used DVD Decryptor to copy 3 different single layer DVDs to my hard drive using ISO read and then burned the images to the Verbatim DVDs. When I tried to play any of these Verbatim DVDs in my Panasonic RV-31 DVD player they skipped pretty badly. The Panasonic would always play any Princo DVD-R I put into it without any problems. I checked the source discs and they were all fine, no scratches, no skips. I then burned one of the images to a Memorex DVD-RW and the disc played fine on the Panasonic player. I then tried playing the problematic Verbatim DVDs on my Pioneer DVR-105 and they played fine. I'm assuming my Panasonic player just doesn't like those Verbatim DVDs and that the discs should play fine on other players. I've never heard of this happening and just want to be sure as I'm making these copies for a friend overseas. Thanks in advance for any info and happy Thanksgiving!
