  1. Hi, this is my first post, and sorry for my bad english

When i render my video in VEGAS 5 i get blur/flickering i'm not sure if this is the correct word (i hope). how i can fix that, i was trying with interlace/deinterlace in Vegas and in TMPGEnc, but i get the same problem.

The source videos are a VHS tapes captured with VIRTUAL VCR, using MJPEG compression.

Well, i hope you can understand me.

    Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you're seeing the effects of macrovision copy protection if they're commercial titles you're capturing.

Could you be referring to the 'jerkyness' you get when the field order is wrong.
Like when a person moves across the screen, it shows as a series of little jerky actions ?

Try setting TPMG to bottom field first and then try top field first.

Leave the video interlaced, try bunyip's/mikebytes's suggestion (try both field order). I'd make two short clips using both field orders, author them to the same disc then compare.

BTW just because it's not a commercial tape doesn't mean it can't be affected by MV, it's possible. Fill out your computer details, particularly which capture card your using, this sometimes helps. If possible post a screencap, is this visible in your capture or just after you burn the movie?

  7. Hi

    Solved problem!

And yes, i'm sure it's "Jerkyness" like bunyip say.

I was trying both field orders and Top A was the correct.

Thanks to all for help me.
