  1. I have a VCD created by a friend and I want to copy this and add chapers to the new copy. I have Nero 5 and EZCD 5.
Could anyone advise step-by-step how this can be done?
    All help appreciated.

  2. Rather easy I would say:
    1) Copy the DAT from the MPEGAV folder to your HDD
    2) use TSCV or VCDEasy and open your file there
    3) Use the chapters tab to create your chapters
    4) Use Create Bin/Cue (TSCV) or Go (VCDEasy)

    and that's about it

  3. Are these chapters really just separate MPEG files on the VCD, or some sort of index within a single MPEG?

  4. Using TSCV/VCDEasy, you are creating TRUE chapters, not as seperate files, but as an Index on the one MPEG file using an Entry Point for each chapter.

  5. Thanks Sefy - I've downloaded VCDEasy and I'll give it a whirl. Another question!! Once created how do I then burn this new .dat file to CD? I currently create a CD image of the original VCD and burn that. Help!!

  6. Try using cdrdao. It comes with the full VCDEasy (included TCSV, too) package.
