Which DVD authoring software has scene detect function ?

Hello,
I would like to know which authoring software has scene detect function during capturing or when importing an existing avi file or for both ? Thanks.

authoring software doesnt capture or in many many cases , import avi files ...

dvd lab has scene detect though on mpeg files already rendered ..

Thanks, BJ_M. I tried a short mpeg2 file and did not see that happend. did I missed something (a parameter or command) ?

maybe it could not detect a scene change because the scene change was to subtle ..

btw -- you have to tell it to do it ... it just doesnt do it on its own ..

takes a bit of time also ..

I found it but it's incorporated in the menu function and not exact what I want - breaking down by scene for editing.
