ulead dvd movie factory 2 doubles file size

ive been using dvd movie factory for a few svcd to dvd conversions and if i start with 2 750mb svcds i wind up with a vts folder at least 3.5 gb or more.....is there a setting that i can shrink the final vob sizes?

Lower the video bitrate and use mpeg layer2 audio compression, click on change mpeg settings.

Or don't reconvert and use www.svcd2dvd.com but the dvds wont be 100% dvd compliant then...

one more ques....
is there an option to disable the thumbnails in the menue?.....id rather use just a background and text
